Have you ever been to a gun show, passed up on an item then after you got home wished you had got it.

Example:
Went to the Dallas Gun Collectors Show Sunday.
Spotted a long range Creedmore Tang Sight that I could get for $75.00. Passed it up.

Spotted a Kirkpatrick holster and belt for a 44/45 caliber single action revolver. I could get for $125.00
Passed it up.

Got home and I'm still kicking myself for not getting both of them. Darn!

Am I the only one that does dumb things like that?

NO! I wish I could recall how many times I do the same thing! Just a couple months ago I passed on two model 336 Marlins. A 1948 .30-30, and a 1950 .35 Rem. Same seller had both and they were priced at $135 for the .35, and $140 for the .30-30! I passed on them, and about 5 minutes later decided I should go back, and they were both gone!
I only passed because I told myself I didn't need them, and then thought they could be great trading stock, but alas too late.

Yep! It's an addition to the book any gun nut could write - stuff I should have bought & stuff I should have kept! I have a few paragraphs to that myself, but it's painful to recall them! SW
