@art6555 id like see that broadhead and anything else you can dig up archery related. I love this stuff!
@M700 what was the big iron on your hip for that day out?
Bears! :)

Our bear season is open at the same time as our archery deer season and I like to have the 44 with me when I'm out prowling around all sneaky-like in bear country. :) I wouldn't mind hunting bears with the archery gear, but feel a little more protected when I've got a sturdy handgun with me as well.

Regards, Guy

Dirty,

2010 Carbon Matrix.

Started with Bear in the early 80's Then shot Martin. Big break from archery then went to Mathews for a bit.
Been Hoyt guy for 12 years or so. Been Bow hunting for 38 years I guess.

Kinda like Ford vs Chevy or Stihl vs Husky. Top few are all good, IMO.

I do prefer fixed blade heads and aluminum/carbon shafts by Easton.

I have had some good years, used to hunt 4 states. Lately just here in VT.

Great threads.

Some early 90’s odd thunderheads. 150gr 2 blade and a 160gr 3 blade meant for hunting African game. I used on whitetails. These were sent to me as a gift from a Mr Watson in NC many years ago. I think there may have been a 180gr model too but so far it has escaped me.
