Welcome to Team .375.

Although jayelf is the instigator, thank you jayelf, he preferred someone else lead the team. So, on the grounds of enthusiasm and knowledge, I asked 'rushbeau' to take the reins and he accepted.

Congratulations rushbeau.:congrats:

Cheers,
Mark.

Thanks Oz!;D

I feel kind of like I'm thrashing around the pool while wearing a flight suit, survival vest, and boots again (only 25 years older). I'm new at this MarlinOwners team stuff. :hmmmm: I welcome help, ideas, and suggestions.

Now, what's the next order of business to get "Team 375" on track?

Oh, if any of the team members is interested, the 356 Winchester enthusiasts have been trying to start a "Team 356" for two years (in the 336 forum). I've had a 356 longer than a 375. Its a great cartridge and easy to load. My rifles are Winchesters, but I thought they wouldn't mind another member - so I'm number 11. Now we need another 29 members.

Happy trails!

Been looking for a 336ER long before I found my 375. If I find one my wife is willing to pay for I will gladly jump on that boat too.

Thanks Rushbeau for heading up this team!

glad you were on vacation! was starting to worry that something had happened to you. thank you for letting me join. I have had a 375 Winnie longer than any other arm in my collection. have been through 15-20 other 94 wins but always keep the thumper.
since I'm an "old member " welcome PAHunter number 58!

Hi deerstalkert,

Thank you for the kind words:shakehands:. It was so hot and humid (99 F and 70% humidity) in the Ouachita Mountains, I thought you guys might lose me. It took me 3 hours to pack up camp, because I had to stop every five minutes to get in the truck and run the AC for ten minutes. I was so soaked with sweat, I looked lke I had taken a dip in the Caddo River.

The 375 Winchester is a thumper. I found the 444 Marlin was a Thumper (with capital "T") and shooting it gave me headaches, so I sold it and bought a 375. I didn't lose anything but the headaches. Shooting it from the bench can be quite the experience. It is about as much recoil as I care to endure anymore.

Welcome to the team!

Hi duxnbucks,

That Marlin 375 is a dandy rifle. I've never met a Marlin rifle of any kind which wasn't a fine machine, but the model 375 has the best feel to me so far. I've not been able to compare it to the 336 ER (.356 Winchester); but, God willing, I may have one of those some day.

Be sure and let us know how you like yur 375 after you wack a bambie with it.

Happy Hunting!

Can I be member #93 on the .375 Team? I don't care that you're only to #61... I do have a reason or make it #100 to match my Team 1894 member #.
