20190812_171148.jpg Ok, it's not a marlin,but it is interesting.
It's a cooey model 60 22, never heard of them till a few days ago, made in Canada, 1939,1960?
I seen it in a pawn shop and bought it
It has 95 % or better blueing , perfect bore, nice stock.
from what I read these are good shooters, can't wait to find out IMG_2029.jpg

This is so confusing. Now I have to remind myself that a person talking about a Model 60 .22, may not be talking about a Marlin :)

Its a repeater, the only rifle I have handled that (it won't let me put the word in) when you push the bolt forward.
shoots short, long and long rifle ammo
Some British Enfields, Russian Nagants, and some Japanese types cock-the-striker when closing the bolt rather than on opening the bolt.

I believe that I read somewhere that Marlin bought the design rights for the M-60 semi-auto from Cooey.
