I've seen Henry's that have been stripped of their paint and then Clear Coated.
Thet looked like Stainless Steel.

No. Marlin never made a stainless octagon in any model or chambering. Never happened.

The photo above must be a nickel or chrome plate.

Go to that web site. He will make one. The work he shows looks nice, real nice but over my pay grade.

I have seen similar done except the outside was plated with industrial hard chrome satin finish. It's real durable and won't rust.

Yeah. Spend $600 to fix a $15 problem. :)
I bet I am the only guy who ever used lopsided logic to justify a gun purchase...haha

Such justifications typically start with...”Well you know, Honey, it might seem like alot now...but...”

I'd check Nonneman out really well before send anything to him, he has a pretty long long standing rep of kicking the can down the road and poor to no contact. I looked into sending him a rifle years ago until I did some research, and a quick check a few minutes ago it looks like not much has changed.

About 10 years ago I duracoated the frame of a 1911 acp with their stainless mix that gave this gun a very convincing stainless look
