Anyone heading down to Friendship In?
I am going to do a little shopping. Flints, balls, ramrods. Stuff I prefer to pick myself.
I have a little mad money so who knows?

Haven't been to "Friendship" since '78. Didn't like being nickled and dimed every time I turned around.

I like bumping into old friends and competitors down there. Have not shot a match in a long time.
I get nickled and dimed where ever I go so no problem there.

Didn't use to mind getting' nickeled and dimed too much... when I had quarters and dollars! Nowadays, it seems like all I've got, is nickels and dimes!:hmpf:

Well my son and future bride went down with me. Had a ball.
I picked a couple of ramrods that met my standards.
Sorted through flints and got a dozen for my next project. Also some ram rod pipes.
Swapped out a lock for my squirrel rifle build in favor of one with a different look. Great service from L&R locks.
I saw some incredible guns both old and new. I got to look at some smooth bores to get ideas for my next build.
Talked with old friends and made a few new.
I wish I was there for the week.
