Found the site last night while doing research on the 336. Great information here!
While rummaging through a large group of consignment rifles at the range five years ago, my friend was elated to find an 1894c in .38/.357. He pulled it out and showed it to me. I told him that is exactly what I was hoping to find. He wanted to buy it for himself, but graciously allowed me to snatch it away.
It has proven to be one of the most enjoyable firearms I have ever shot!
Still want a 336 in .30-30. Maybe one of these days.
