Old guy here, finally joining up with other Marlin Owners. Lived in Illinois most of my life and now live 15 minutes away from our grandkids in SC. Learned to shoot on my dad's 1950-ish (it was not drilled and tapped for a scope) Model 39. And in the 1980's he sold it without asking me...Arrrrrgh! The earliest I have been able to acquire is a 39A from 1966, but always liked the smooth wood. I have a nice cross section of 336's, 39a Mountie, 57M, 60's, Westfield 22, 25MN, 1894CB (2019 production), Model 80 (1939), and am about to acquire a 1894CL 25-20. So, I have been a Marlin Owner for years and thought it was about time to come forward and say, "Hi, I'm a Marlin Owner and I can't stop...!" You guys have so much information available to research our prized possession's. Thank you.
