The new Woodleigh site is up and there is a notice about a NEW 33 Win. 200gr. FN bullet.

I took the time to email Midway about these bullets as they are only one of the two Co.s that handle these Aussy Bullets.

Here is their answer to me:

Dear Ron,

Thank you for your recent email. I apologize, I do not have any information at this time if or when we will get the 200 FN bullets. I have put in a request with our marketing team to carry these. Hopefully we will get some in soon.

If you have any additional questions or comments, please feel free to contact us at 1-800-243-3220. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. CT; Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CT. You may also email us at [email protected].

Thanks for Your Business!

I would hope that IF we all will call and or email these guys they might respond by stocking this item. It couldn't hurt if they got 4 or 500 calls and emails.

Woodleigh puts out a much better bullet than most others, too. So here's your chance if you really want this to happen.

People in Canada can order these from tradex Canada last time I looked they had they in stock
Have you seen the 310gr Woodleigh Weldcore bullets in .358 ?
They are supposed to do 2050fps in 358 winchester.
Doubletapammo.com has some nice 358 ammo for sale. Maybe we can get them to come up with some .338 ME loads.
They also have a 180gr Protected Point for the .338Fed and .338/06. I almost bought some when MidwayUSA had them on clearance.
Wish I had.
The meplat on the PP bullet might be large enough to allow use in the tubular magazine.
The 200gr Woodleigh just might be the bullet I'm looking for to supplement the excellent FTX.
message sent to midway!

That 180 gr. is an intriguing bullet, its L is 1.033 and with a operating range of 1700-2500 it should work well. I also noted that it is refered to as a "round" protected point.

Going to order a box with my next check and see what happens.

Came back to add that Load from a disk says I can reach 2500 with most any powder I chose and the pressure will be on the low side of 43,000 CUP
Anybody looked at the Montana bullet company 200 FP in 338. Seems like to would work?
woodleigh also makes a 300 grainer.
I'll send an email. Any good bullet besides the gummy tips for me.
Now we're talking!!...can you say "penetration" (and not in the biblical sense ;))....I'd like this same style bullet in a 220gr or possibly a Speer slug in the same toughness range and profile of the 220gr they have for the 35Rem
