I recently acquired this in a trade for a AR15. It is a 2007 rifle that is very nice condition. I believed it has been “tuned-up” somewhere along the way as the trigger is very crisp and the action is slicker than snot. It shoots great with the buckhorns but I will be adding a Skinner peep sight I have on hand, its easier on the old eyes. I happy with my trade.

You certainly got the best looking rifle! And if you swapped even, you got the best end of the deal! Handsome little carbine. They look great without a barrel band too.

Congratulations, yep you got the better end of the trade for me. I am not in to AR's, but price wise, depending on the AR traded you could have came out ahead, even or behind on the money. But that is what you wanted it was worth it to you. Definitely would have been worth it to me.

Congrats! You can always pick up another AR...not so with an original 1894, especially in three-five-seven!
