Gday guys, some may have read my posts about the issues with my new 336c, anyway long story short I got a refund and went out and found this sweety.

A few character marks on the stock, but other than that she's in really good nick! Pick it up as soon as the "permit to acquire" comes through.. (Yeah another one..).

Cheers, Scott.

Refund for unacceptable rifle quality - cost of seasoned 70's Marlin = ultimate bliss

Good shooting to you with that good looking Marlin ...

Nice looking gun. Hope it shoots as good as it looks.

I see someone put the stud in the bullseye. ::)

What is this "permit to aquire" business? Where do you live?

Nice find. Looks like she got "screwed" in the "eye". The 1974 336 in 35 Remington I picked up a couple of months ago has the same issue. Hope you get many miles out of it!

Yeah she copped it in the bullseye, but I wont hold it against her. Its a whole lot nicer than the 3 pieces of junk I had offered to me during my "warranty" fiasco!

Old Marlins for me from now on. I see what the attraction is. Solid, well made, smooth cycling and sweet handling firearms. The way it should be. ;)

Cheers, Scott.

This definitely looks like a keeper. I like the cut out on the stock. This gun looks longer than my 336T.
