Picked up a very nice 336SC in 35 Rem.(1963 vintage) a couple of days ago.Looks almost new, blueing is perfect and I can only find 1 small ding in the wood.Looks like it sat in it's guncase in a closet for decades.
It came with a period gun case and scope and I was wondering if anyone here has ever seen or heard of a Cheyenne scope. It has that name on it a number and the 4 power marking nothing else.I've been into guns since the late 1960's and I don't recall ever seeing one or mounts and bases quite like what are on it.
Thanks,Bill

I have a 1961 SC in .35 Rem that is maybe the nicest rifle I have ever owned. It too is in great condition and has an older Leupold 6x scope on it. That rifle should be a real nice one for you ... congratulations!
