I came across a nice used 1894ss at the local gun store yesterday for $500.It looked like it wasen't even fired. I couldn't help myself and went back today and talked him down to $450. I really didn't need it since I already have a 1894css .357.But man are they sure beautiful! I will post some pics soon.Couldn't pass it up for the price.

Very nice, can't wait to see pics. Welcome to MO from central Florida. You should stop by the 1894 thread and joing Team 1894..
Welcome to the forums ...

We'll be waiting on those pictures as we love seeing as many Marlins as possible. You might also want to join Team 1894 toward the top of this section since you have a couple of good reasons to join ;D.

Nice looking stainless trio! Looks like you will now need another Ruger.. ;D
You are indeed one lucky dog. Nice pictures!
I was really looking for a MKIII when I saw the 1894.I figured the ruger would always be there, but not the Marlin. They are hard to find. Now my wife wants a Henry goldenboy .22. Am I using alot of bad words on this forum?Ha!
That's a real good buy. You sure won't find one in a Centrall Illinois store at that price.
I took the gun out and shot it today :)It shoots great with no 'JAMS'! I was a little worried about that with a used gun. I was very pleased!I guess reloading will be a hobbie in the near future since this gun is so fun to shoot and ammo is so high.

That would be a very wise move on your part. There is nothing quite like throwing your own loads at game or down range into little groups.
