You Done Good IMHO!
I don't blame you for unretiring to get your collection ahead some!
Of the group I'd like to have the 629-3 & 617 most in my collection, not that the other 2 cant fit in it too :)

Enjoy them bud!

PS
I'm guessing that the Thunder Ranch is a 45ACP?

Outstanding group of Revolvers! Congrats on being able to grab up so many! I'm definitely jealous!

Very nice ... My 629 Mountain "Revolver" is my all time favorite firearm. The first "Mountain Gun" was actually called the Mountain Revolver, I have a S&W ad for it around here somewhere. I have been told that they were hard chrome over stainless, mine has a frosted finish so that is probably right.

Nice collection! Thumb.jpg
I also have a 617 4" and it's a great gun to shoot bowling pins with.

The only thing hard chromed on the 1989 "Mountain Revolver" is the hammer and trigger. The rest of this stailnless steel gun is simply a bead blasted finish rather than the brushed finish of the later "Mountain Gun" series.

I would like to own every S&W revolver I have seen for the most part as long as it shoots nothing larger than 357.

The S&W 45 ACP revolvers are really nice to shoot as well. Less recoil than
a 357 but more than a 38 special.
I would love to have one but not this year.

That .44 Spcl. is sweet. A fun caliber to load and shoot!
