Well, back from the match, shot one of my lowest scores ever, but I think it doesn't tell the whole story. The rifle acted well, and I think it will be capable of much better scores when finished. Winner hit 14 with a .17hmr.
...if you shoot bench, rested & scoped, I believe that cheek rest could be counterproductive for the greater weight on one side and because it becomes very likely to inadvertently move the rifle with the pressure of the cheekbone only. imho, straight it could be more competitive_
at 200, with a .22lr, it can make a big difference
it's almost dry, it will stay super glossy like that. I can't wait to put it back together again. When you turn it in the sunlight figure pops out everywhere, very pretty, hope it distracts my competition
