New P22?

Has anyone seen Walther's new catalog? It looks like the P22 got a major restyling. I can't decide whether or not I like it, because while it's now got a really cool texture on the grips, they seem to have changed the slide from a rectangle-with-slices-cut-off-either-side-making-it-polygonal shape to an ugly rectangle Glock-like thing. Maybe it's too early, but neither the Carl Walther site nor the Walther American site have any photos of the new P22s.

BTW, is it illegal to put a suppressor on a BB pistol? Thought I might ask before I did it. :-X

Just off the top of my head, as long as it is not listed as a Class III (I think that's where supressors lie) item (specifically) it should be OK to own. I think some of the high-powered pellet guns have a peusdo muzzle brake/supressor on them. You have to have the stamp for the supressor, not necessarily what you use it on.

Ummm............doesn't this question belong in the Asylum? Only a nut-case would ask that, unless of course it's a joke. I guess I'm just confused. Is there such thing as a hyper-sonic BB pistol? And if there is, the only question left to ask is.............why? ::) :p :-X

I thought the Asylum was for politics...

No, it's not a joke, I read somewhere that on CO2-powered BB guns can be silenced really well because there's no spring noise. I was just wondering if it was illegal to make a silencer solely for a BB gun because Gamo Whispers have an integral silencer and they're legal.
The Asylum is for topics that don't have anything to do with guns or shooting.

You asked about making a suppressor for a BB gun. I get the feeling that you don't realize that making a suppressor for a weapon of ANY kind without a license will get you thrown in Federal Prison faster than a 220 Swift will smoke a groundhog.

PM me your phone number, if you feel up to it. I think we need to chat a bit. ::)

Don't worry, you've made me see the errors of my ways... :-X
No, I was serious. We need to chat. I promise not to bite your head off. I'll start with something smaller. ;)

I don't know what forums you visit, but this one's a little different. I just thought we'd have a nice chat, right before I.......oh well, no need to ruin the surprise. 8)
You might want to check out the Firestorm (Bersa) 22, it is the best auto 22 out there in my opinion.
