Welcome from E. Texas. You have a good start for a year. I suppose you could say I have been at it for about 70 years now. Dad got me my first a 39a back in 1952, then the got a 336scin .35 Remington, which I acquired about two years before he died. I don't know why, but I really got the lever action bug about 20-15 years ago, got 45-70's in standard 1895, Guide gun and 1895 cowboy, then a 1895 cowboy in 38-55, a 1894 cowboy in .44 mag, and a 1897 cowboy(.22LR) I guess you see I like those long octagon barrels. Also lucked into a 1894cl in 32-20, and lastly used my C&R license to purchase two rather pristine 39a Monties off the internet. Not Marlins but Winchesters, got a 1894 Canadian Centennial back in 1968, then a couple of 1894-1994 Centennial models, fancy wood, 26" half octagon half round barrels, engraving, crescent buttplate, Lyman tang sight, and short 3 round magazine for 30-30, then a 1876 takedown in 45-70

Welcome from western North Carolina. Really nice start to your Marlin collection. I see a much
needed niche for a .35. I'm 74 and got my first .35 at age 12. All these years later and I have
a whole rack of them in model 336 (and one Remington 121 pump). After you find a good .35 (or three),
look for one in a .45 Colt to fill out a great selection of lever calibers.

Be safe. Bo Cash

Nice start on a good collection. I love the .357 and still need one in my collection. When you get to the multiple dozens like me you will know the bug has bit hard LOL.
