I bought a Glenfield Model 60 in 1978 from Sears. I am passing it on to my younger son soon and I replaced it with a Marlin model 60SB. I got such good service from the Glenfield, I figured I could not go wrong with a new Marlin. After many years of abuse and non-cleaning of the Glenfield I cleaned the action the other day, first time in 33 years. It now shoots and feeds and ejects as good as it did new. I put a nice simmon scope and a custom open thumb Boyd's stock on the new gun and it is absolutely beautiful. I know this gun will out live me and be enjoyed by my children.
