I just bought my first Marlin, a model 81DL. I came to this forum first thing to start learning about this very nice 22. Great forum and a great resource!

I am out in West Texas, where the oil flows but the rivers don't :-(

Welcome to MO from east central Florida. I have the Marlin 981T and installed a Rifle Basix adjustable trigger in it. Very accurate .22lr rifle. The adjustable trigger really helped improve the accuracy. It's lethal on bushy tails.
