Hi all.
I'm one of the last few employees left at Marlin Firearms in North Haven, Connecticut.
Sorry in advance if I'm posting this wrong, or in the wrong place.
Just curious to see what goes on in here, and look forward to some interesting posts.

Not to hijack your thread but thought I would get on board. I'm from North Haven too, a new member, and very proud to have been on the Marlin little league team.

The whole town won't be the same, it was always a point of pride.

Thanks for all the warm Welcomes from around the country.
It is a sad day coming up on 3/31/2011. 35 days to go.
It'll be the last day for the handfull of us Hourly Workers left.
4/1/2011 is the final day for the Office Salaried Workers.
Then the building will be locked down and Power Washed.

Its been a sad time for all of us who love Marlins, and it really feels like a great American tradition has died. But we still have the legacy of great rifles produced over the years by fine folks like yourself and the others there in North Haven to remind us of the days when the Marlin name stood for something. Thank you for contributing to that great tradition...

...and welcome from Stillwater, Oklahoma!
