I put a new bow in layaway before Thanksgiving and I hope to get it out sometime this week. I have been an avid Hoyt shooter for years and I picked up a Fred Bear Done Deal bow at the local archery shop, and the owner asked me if I wanted to try it out. Oh my Gosh what a smooth drawing bow, there is no "hump" in the draw and it was set at 60 pounds. When I fired it all I heard was the arrow hit the target. I think I got me an awesome bow. I can't wait to try it out. Dan

Local shops are good that way, where you can check out the same model. It remeinds me when I bought my lightspeed, walked out of the shop with a little buyers remorse but when I picked it up it all felt right.
To good shooting. Hope you have good arrows lined up.

I like the Bear line. You get a lot of bang for your buck.
