Hello gentlemen! Just picked up my new 1894s from my ffl. That puppy is flawless, purchased off of gunbroker for $629. Appears not to have ever been fired! I purchased some hornady lever evolution for it and cant wait to try it out. (.44 mag)
Any break in tips from experienced lever gunners? This is my first, not counting a henry .17
Thanks in advance!

Get the Marlin 1894 owners manual on line, and enjoy. And congrats, in this market, that is a good price for such a nice gun.

Congratulations Dan-O. We all like our gun porn, so don't forget pic's. 1894S would likely be a JM. .44 is a good caliber. Not as hard to locate as 1894C (.357) but still a decent $$ for a really nice JM 1894. You'll enjoy for sure.

Oh did I mention the golden rule? Don't forget pic's!
