My Dad just gave me a 1965 336. (I know, pictures! I'm working on that.) The bluing is pretty good, but the walnut stock feels dry. It has nice color and no dings, so I'm not sure I necessarily want to refinish it, I just don't want it to dry out and crack. Any advice?

Thanks in advance.

Get some Howards feed & wax from Walmart. It's orange oil with beeswax and carnuba wax. It feeds the wood and leaves a nice shine.

I agree with Greg, the Howard's Feed and Wax will do wonders. Works on wood and metal.
