The original sights are missing. It's a pre 74 444s with dovetail slots front and rear and there are many options out there. I simply want to go back to stock. Numrich doesn't have them, at least not that I can find so I'm left looking on fleabay and other places.
My question is there are many sights that will simply slide into the dovetails in this barrel. The ones I see of ebay are listed as "low, medium, or high" with regards to how tall they are.
What would've been stock? Seems to me lower would've been better as they're less likely to snag or bump into something but what say ye?
