My dad has a Glenfield Model 65 "Golden 50" that ejects less than half the time. He left it with me in hopes that I could figure out the problem. After I stripped it down to the guts and scooped the years and years worth of gunky tar buildup out of it, I noticed the ejector had taken a beating. The problem is, it's the old style, before they started using a wire lifter/ejector. With this rifle, the ejector is an integral part of the feed block. I absolutely can not find a replacement. It's like the internet denies the existence of the part, even though it's right here in front of me, in the flesh. Does anybody have a line on parts for this gun? It's of sentimental value to my dad, but I doubt he would want to fork over the necessary coin to have a gunsmith fix it.
