I got the call today and was told the same thing, box of 50. But the boxes I got are 100, I believe they have a small mixup in listing. Mine are on the way. DP

Outdoor Gear Barn shows 0 in stock. They must be flying off the shelves.

being selfish, I scored 6 boxes before posting the news ..... I didn't notice how many boxes were in stock, but yep, I reckon the boxes are flying off the shelves.

to my best recollection, this is the first time in 6 months (or more) that anybody anywhere has had these bullets. I did the "email notice" at a half-dozen places, so far only Natchez & Outdoor Barn have sent an in-stock response.

Cheers,

Carl

I had 4 boxes ordered, should keep me happy for a while. I have two 375's for these, and three 38-55's that will get cast. DP

Midway e-mailed me today that they just shipped mine - had been backordered for about 6 weeks. ;D

Re: Natchez has .375 Hornady 220-gr bullets in stock !!

I had a box on back order with Midway and was just notified they were in and being processed. When I checked the invoice I saw they were shipping it for almost $17.00 putting the cost at over $53.00 for just 1 box of 100. I had ordered it with 8 other boxes of bullets and some misc. stuff to spread out the shipping cost and was expecting the shipping to be rolled into the original order. Unfortunately their policy is to ship back orders seperately. There was also a cheaper way to ship and they chose a more expensive one. I think this is pretty poor customer service especially after 20+ years of being a loyal customer. I will have to rethink that. I cancelled the order as I just wanted another box to have on the shelf. I wonder if all mail order companies have that policy?

Thanks for the heads up 375 Win.. I ordered two boxes. I had the man from Natchez check and there are 100 in the box. Midway were a little cheaper on all the stuff I ordered but they didn't have any bullets in stock. So they lost an order for the bullets, dies, cases, pilot and ammo boxes. I hate having one or two items back ordered and then pay shipping twice. Besides now I'll get a catalog from Natchez.

I seem to find better deals in Natchez's catalog than Midway. I also think the shipping charges are cheaper from Natchez, Midway's shipping always shocks me for what is being sent. DP

I try to use Graf and Sons as much as possible because of their lower shipping cost. They are sometimes a little higher than Midway, but not always. Just placed an order with them and they beat Midway on the item I was shopping for. I usually come out ahead with Graf. Only problem with them is they are often out of stock on what I'm looking for.

Good morning
When I read "Available again" bullet nitices I can only rejoice I make my own.
For the price of a box of factory bullets you can buy a Ranch Dog mold (or whoever) and never have to be at the mercy of factory supply again.
When I am up north there I shoot lots of 38 caliber bullets and they sure do not cost 70 cents apiece.
Bullet casting is not that hard.

I hear what you are saying, Mike. 98% of all my rifles and pistols are fed my cast projectiles. But sometimes it's just nice to have a couple boxes of Hornady 220s sitting on the shelf.
