Here are few pics of my .35 Rem. Please forgive the long scope and recoil pad. the scope will be replaced with a much shorter Leupold. I would like to know if anyone can tell me what model this .35 Rem is. Serial number 19105xxx. 20" barrel. Microgoove. 35 Cal stamped on barrel. Can anyone tell me the model?

Thanks much,

Dave 8)

My 1983 catalog shows a Model 336T, but in 30-30 only. Does anyone know if the 336T came in 35 Remington in 1981?

Looks like a 20 inch barrel from the photo.

Dave,
Does it say Marlin or anything? Just microgroove?

Courious, why the urge to call it a Glennfield ?? the Grain?
One of my .35's was much like this till I reworked the finnish. Time spent in the sun had lightened the tone. Now the grain does appear to be rather open suggesting somthing other than wnut.

Could it be the gold trigger?

:)
The Marlins had gold triggers also. Quite the mystery
Sorry, I thought that only Winchester and Sears and the like put that kind of flash on their guns.

Always makes me think of a woman with too much lipstick on.

I looked through my old Marlin catalogs from the late 70's to the early 80's and the 336T was only offered in 30-30 according to them. Your serial# does indicate it was built in 81 but I'm wondering if maybe someone installed a 35 Rem barrel at one time, if might be hard to tell. Nice rifle in any case.

I once had a 336 w/ a gold trigger, bought it from a disgruntled wife for $75 when I was 23. It was stolen a month later.

it looks like mine, RC
