Picked this one up recently. A model 44 20ga, with some extremely nice wood, factory pad
and a rather plain but nice gold inlaid signature. At this point I haven't been able to determine any information
regarding the individual who's name is listed on the rifle (W.N. or N.N.), however since the gun was produced after
the close of the custom shop I'm under the impression that the individual would have likely carried some
weight, unless of course it was aftermarket. If it were done at Marlin it could have been for a long time employee,
perhaps a politician :-X, or maybe a fancy trap shooter hopefully..one day before my flame burns out i'll figure it out.
