Bought a used 1894 44 Magnum in great shape. Took me a few weeks but finally got to the range yesterday.

I mounted a 1-4x20 scope on it and it seems to be the perfect size for my intended use. I love this rifle! It's plenty accurate for me at around 2 MOA!

The only problem with it is it's so damn fun to shoot I couldn't help but load her up over and over and over until my ammo ran out.

So, my Marlinitis is satiated... for now!

Hey there Tatersoup -- You're just delusional. One of the main symptoms of Marlin-itus. Here is my 1894 after about 3 1/2 minutes and I'm off looking for more ammunition...There is no hope... Best regards. Wind

Easy hundred rounds every time I go shooting. If my wife comes along, even more, she's not content with just shooting the .22 Century 39. I've got to find that reloading press quick!

The problem is that you just did not load up enough ammunition and bring it with you, just consider it a learning experience and next time you will know better and bring enough cartridges until you run out of steam!
