Thought I'd share this with you all. Bought it last week its a 1981 1894C in .357, microgroove of course but having shot 50 rounds of factory .38 special thru it on Friday, its doing just fine. And being pre safety and having the gold trigger adds a certain charm.

I added the Lyman 66 sight today, so hoping for even better results next time out

It joins a 1999 1894 Cowboy also in .357 in my safe, and a 1978 Marlin 39M, Marlinitis also occurs in England, it just a lot harder to achieve.

Beautiful rifle,I like it a lot. Yes Marlinitis is a good thing and yes it is getting harder to score. More and more people are keeping the good ones. For good reason.
