Swore I’d never have a striker fired pistol, let alone a ugly Glock but the little 43 just kept picking at me till I caved. After shooting it and the accuracy it shows, there maybe a long slide 10mm in my near future....

My Lady carries that one and loves it... She also just got a Glock 44 for a 22LR plinker for cheap shooting...

My favorite edc was a Springfield Xd 3.8" barrel in .45ACP.
It was striker fired and with the two safeties, I was always comfotable with it in an open holster.

I understand what the OP means. I’ve never been a big fan of striker guns until I tried my sig P365. Now it hard to justify carrying anything else.

My Springfield XDS 45 acp is easy to conceal and shoot. Definitely one of my favorites when I wanr/need smaller then a 1911. It is somewhat ugly but not as ugly as a Glock. LOL.

They have there place. I love a revolver but own a Shield 9 and a M&P 45 for carry and truck guns. They get some range time but I enjoy shooting the revolvers more and even the 1911's. Probably because I am older and the same reason I like older rifles and Marlins.
