I never did try fishing in December. I usually give it up before thanksgiving rolls around. I did try cranking, Swimbaits and jigs in January 2-3 years ago with no luck. Today after a frosty night in the 20’s I threw this hair jig with a craw trailer and finally got bit. Now if I can catch a January bass I’ll have all months covered.

Dang! I should have taken a picture of all the bass my neighbor across the street from me caught!
Still nice to catch a bass cold like it is for you right now! Just must slow down on cranking the bait in!
