How do you lay it down?
I new I needed some more pictures!

there is a metal piece under the site above the mount that locks in in one of 3 positions.
1 is straight up, 2 is down with clearance . IT can go further as you see in the next down picture. There is a rubber ring around the eye disk for this, as to not mark the stock. The last position that I don't use would lie it over the trigger used for other rifles that would mount on the other side of the trigger.
I'll need to make a trip to tandy leather and make a leather sock to fit over the site for extra protection.

you can still see the screws that held the rail where my scope was. I seem to of lost my originals and need some fillers to make it flush, also needs a filler for the rear site that I removed!

Paint that rear sight camo and use it for a blind! Very nice rifle.

LoL I totally agree! At first I received the eye disk I thought it was totally awkward!
It's to help with eliminating more light. The original did not have the adjustable peep hole. And only went down to .05
I'm slowly warming up to it.
There is a knob that comes off to take of the soul ...maybe I can find something to fit mount for brush.
