I have a great 1977 model 39a with Marlin 4x32 scope and searching every where in UK for Mountie to go with it but can not find one nor have I seen one owned by anyone else. Can anyone tell me if they were imported to the UK?

Don't know if they were exported to the UK. Is there a prohibition of having one shipped there now? You can find Mounties here of course, but I don't know about international shipments. Gun Broker auction site might be able to provide some sort of info.
