OK fellas, it's time for another trivia challenge! Here's the question:
Howmany rifles did Marlin build in .22 rimfire, prior to WWII. That would be any of the rimfire .22's including .22 magnum.
Go get 'em fellas!

Question? Do you mean how many models such as the Model 18 and 39A? Or do you mean how many were built total like 300,000? Parley

So unless I miss-counted I come up with 42 different models, non of which were chambered in .22 Win. Magnum, as that cartridge was not introduced until 1959.

22 models

You boys & girls are going to have to look farther than the Brophy book for this one. I believe the house brands such as Ranger qualify for this question, and I have among my motley assortment a couple that aren't listed in the Brophy book! MM93, I believe you're getting devious in your old age! :D SW

Ok Wishbone we should not be missing many. Parley

That's quite a Marlin collection in just prewar .22's. As to the house brands that is too much for me.

You guys are getting good! I thought I'd throw some of you off with the inclusion of the .22 Magnum, but Wishbone caught that one easily! He also noted the part about "rifles", and Hogger thought to include store brands, which I had not even considered! Parley included the Ballards, which I thought might trip someone up, so overall a great job as a joint effort!
Way to go you guys!
