Model 94 44-40 16" Barrel

Hello to everyone:

I'm new to the forum ... thank you for letting me in ;)

Today, I had the opportunity to shoot a Marlin 94, chambered for 44-40 ammo, with a 16" barrel. Its serial # is 429XXX.-
It has its ejector spring broken. I'm looking for obsolete spare parts to replace the ejector, with spring included. Any recommendation?
Also, I'd like to learn more about this model. For instance, estimated manufacture year??

Any help will be appreciated.

Cheers

Also try www.gunpartscorp.com they have some parts for the 94, Sounds like a nice gun, made 1912-1915, the old Marlin records only go to 355000, 1906. I just got one in 380000 range with a 15"barrel
