Just started rebuilding my Model 81 and while inspecting the bolt end I see one of the "clips" bends outward, while the other inward. Is this normal, or did one of them get bent?

Thanks Bolt 81.JPG

The hook side is what claws into the rim and extracts the casing. The softer side supports the case until it hits the ejector. Common to many .22's. Also seen on Browning Auto 5 shotguns where the parts catalog lists a right and left extractor. Don't mix them up. AC
