I have a Marlin Model 70 HC that has a problem... It is fine where the magazine goes in but anything behind the screw beginning at the trigger guard jiggles. I took it apart but I can't make sense of it. Is there somewhere I can just buy what I have deemed the "trigger assembly"? The whole part moves as one. It is not JUST the trigger that moves. It is the guard and the trigger and what results is jam after jam; it is as if the firing pin won't hit squarely. Any ideas on where I could buy the whole thing??? High sentimental value to this firearm and i realize i could buy a new one but i don't want a new one. I want this one.

Trigger and guard look fine from the road. Looks like some serious wood shrinkage. I'd epoxy bed the hole thing starting with the trigger assy. and work my way up a step at a time.
