I recently purchased a new Marlin Model 60 for my son's birthday. He probably has 50 rounds through it. After we returned home, I disassembled the rifle for cleaning and noticed a bend in the receiver. Has anyone else noticed a bend in their receiver?

The rifle is going back to Marlin. There never was a jam of any sort, and I purchased it new.
You can not see the bend when the receiver is re-attached to the wood stock, so I never noticed it when I purchased it.
