Is it expensive to have a barrel reamed? I have a .22 Model 37 that might be worth a couple of hundred dollars. The cosmetics are pretty good but the bore is “shot”, blah.
Don’t want to spend a lot of money on a $100 gun but I would like to put it in shooting order. Any thoughts?

Not a very good picture at all. Oh yeah, can anyone help me with a date of mfg, I think it's about 1923?

Hey Chug,
By "reamed", do you mean relined? If you're looking to have it relined with a new bore, then it genrally runs about $150-$175 for a .22 liner installed.
The model 37 was built from 1923-1932. I'd guess your serial number puts it into the earlier range.

Thanks MM,

Yes, RELINED. Any suggestions where I might that done? I think this old gun deserves it. It belonged to a deceased relative whose daughter gave it to me.

I will thank you much for a name or company that will do the relining.
