I have the opportunity to buy a Rem 100 20 gauge LW with two barrels for 800 dollars. The gun is as close to new as you can get. It has a plain barrel Mod on it with a extra barrel vent rib with screw in chokes included. I know this sounds high but in todays market it might not be. It is not a 3 inch. My friend is firm on his price but he may come down to 750.00 We sell to each other quite often. Do you think 750 to 800 dollars is in the ballpark?

I still want a Remington 100 but did pick tis Marlin model 120 12 with a 3" chamber off Guns International for $250.00 I think from memory. I then found a full choke barrel for 125.00 on ebay. Never even knew they made them but it is heavy like a Remington 100 maybe even weighs more but shoots well. A lot heavier than my Remington 870 that's for sure and they were made to compete with them. Probably why there are not a lot around.

The light weight 20 bore 1100's had a mahogany stock and I remember seeing them when they first came out at the N.R.A. annual meeting. I don't know why they didn't give them a three inch chamber.
