Interesting story on this one.

I went to a fun shoot last year and a friend of mine shows up with this little beauty Marlin Mountie...........I've always wanted one and he wasn't much of a gun nut and told me he bought it from a friend for $200....(be still my heart!)

I tried to buy it right there by doubling his money....He wasn't interested. I told him if he ever wanted to sell it, call me first.

This week he called me..........Offered it to me for $475...SOLD!

It is in 99.9 % condition. All I did was remove the white line spacer. Can't stand them! I'll save it to put it back if it has collector value.

What do you think?

Great rifle and yours looks to be in excellant shape. I picked mine up about a year ago and I love it. I left the white spacer in on mine, but like the looks of yours without the spacer. So I may make a change!
