well lets start out with the mausers. i FINALLY got done with the richards' gunstock. alot of sanding(220, 340, 400 grit, 0000 steel wool), barlety dark oil wood filler, more sanding minwax antique oil 3 or 4 coats, rotten stone mixed with 3 in 1 oil and finally johnson's paste wax.

next up is my 1898 sporterized spr armory in 30-40 krag (family heirloom). it was given to me by my grandpap, who got it from his dad. i started out with a fajen stock and i replaced with the "original" sporter stock. i waited about 8+/- years till i got tired of "black" rifle. so i citristipped the stock(4x), then i did the steam iron thing, then 340 and 400 grit, barley dark oil wool paste(left it sitting for 2 days), 340, 400 grit, 0000 copper wool, 7 or 8 coats of minwax antique oil, rotten stone with 3 in 1 oil and finally johnsons' paste wax.

Which scope mount did you use on the Brazilian Mauser?

Thanks.
