Did you replace the plastic thing at the butt end of the stock? I need a new one but don't know where to find one...could I make one myself? Nice job on the rifle! Like how you shortened it, has a nice look to it.

Nice job on the overhaul of the old Marlin. You really did a nice job on it. I have one question. Have you given any thought to having the barrel crowned. You took a gun that had no life and did a complete turn around. You should really be proud of yourself and the end product.
