Well, I've just handed over the cash tonight, and once the PTA goes through, I will have a nice clean 39a to keep my other 2 Marlins company.

It has a T prefix on the serial, and is pistol grip stocked. It is also known to be an accurate shooter in the local silho comps. So I'm a happy chappy.

Photos will be provided when I have it home (of course).

cheers, curan.

That sound like a nice one, Man.
I don't have a 39A......I might have to do something
about that.
Don't be concerned over the Marlinitis....Some of us have it a lot
worse.....I got on here 2 years ago when I traded for a junk 1894
with a worn out carrier......And I was a bolt-action guy thru & thru....
Now I have 12 Marlins and counting......and I have even bought the
tools to do my own barrel-swaps.....and am building a 336 in 7/30
Waters......So it could be worse......

Way to roll with the flow. Sounds like a real nice 39A. It will give you a lifetime of fun.

Enjoy the Journey
