In an earlier post I stated that a friend recently left me some guns, one of them being a very good condition Marlin 1893 30/30. Well, today I got on Gun Broker and Guns America to try and get a value on the 1893 so I could add it to my home owners insurance policy. They both are showing 1893's going for between $1,500 to over $2,OOO
for guns that look to be in the same condition as mine. Is this right, do they really go for this much?
If so, I am in shock.
