Hmmmmmm.....Don't believe that is a Ruger production. Vaguely looks like a Remington marketing brochure for Marline that was at my LGS last fall displayed with a couple of the 150th cartridge boxes. At least that's my thought on it.
Guns have bullseyes. Rimfires are still there. Glad to see it. I hope they do not try to bring out too much at one time and have production or quality issues. I would like to see the basic model 60 and 336 done to perfection and work out from there.
Nope, looks like Remington promo data to me. I'd doubt that Ruger would have jumped the gun and done that, much less touted the 2018 and 2019 offerings.
Hopefully Ruger/Marlin has a custom shop that can provide wood upgrades, octagon barrels and lengths, various calibers, sights ect. That would be an amazing shop to order from.
Remington Outdoor Products went bankrupt, was broken up and sold in Fall 2020. Marlin was sold to Ruger. Did you somehow miss that important news? This is an old Remington Outdoor Products catalog. Nothing in there is current information.
Ruger has hinted at, but not released any firm info on which models will be offered, supposedly in Fall-Winter 2021.
Does anyone read through and check out the info before posting? Five minutes worth of Internet research will give you the story. It will help to avoid misinforming new members who are not familiar with Marlin Firearms company history.
It's now mid September so it wont be much longer to wait, unless supply chain issues delay everything. dealers have to know what's available to place orders so something should be forthcoming soon.
The Madison NC address was for Remington headquarters.
I don't believe any manufacturing took place there.
