I pick up one Marlin 30-30 lever gun and another Marlin .22 tags along. I helped my buddy clean out his garage this weekend and found this plinker behind his work box. He told me I could keep it for helping out. No arguments there. It has a little pitting on the surface areas and little scratches on the wood. Mechanically it looks to have been fired very little. Bore is perfect !!Set up my indoor backstop down the basement and it grouped a dime size at 25 feet. {mounted in a gun-vise}. SN is 15687xxx . Does anyone know if there are any higher cap mags available for these? 7 gets a little annoying . What years they were produced ? ;D

Some 0000 steel wool and gun oil will clean that rust up quite nicely, the serial # indicates it's an '85 year production, IF! you can find one of the OLD mags with the steel plunger it'll hold 8rnds, new mags are readily available for these riffles, they're great little shooters!
