Was there more then one version , that was chambered for the 375? Mine is 20" 2/3 magazine and no barrel bands. Have heard another guy say he saw one with full length mag and barrel bands, have a hard time believing that . But then again you never know :!:

I'll stick my head out here and say I don't believe that they made them in any other configuration except yours and it was called a "Marlin .375"as a Model name.I am far from an expert though', however hard I try .Is it possible your friend just confused it with a 38-55?Shootrj2003

If yours has a 22in barrel there must be more then one model. The barrel I have is only 20in . The only other one I've seen also was 20in. HYDE

My 375 has a full tube, but only after a trip to the gunsmith. :) .But it came out with a 3/4 tube on it. it has a 20" barrel.
Marlin only made one version the {model 375} ..Marlin came out with the 375 in 1980 and the retail price was $210.00 in 1980.Marlin stoped production of the 375 in 1983 and the retail price in 1983 was $289.00.Marlin only made 16,315 of the model 375..I can tell you I gave more than $289.00 for mine.My 375 is my go to gun and has never let me down..

Two versions of the 375 were made: 1st models w/o cross-bolt-saftey, late model with cross-bolt-safety....cbs harder to find.
