I picked up a Marlin GA 30 -30-30 never fired in box for 275. Its the great american game series. I know they were made for some retail store. It has a jm stamp on the barrel are they a good quality being its still a jm?

A Connecticut-made 336 clone in new condition for $275 is a give-away price. It has been at least 10 years since a rifle like that went for such a small amount of money around here.

You found a great deal, price would vary around the country. But at the price you paid, you got a GREAT deal! Congrats to you. How did she shoot? DP

Very nice rifle. It is worth more than you paid for it for sure. You will get more out of it by keeping it and shooting it though, as they don't make them like that anymore.
